The TNT kicked off their season with their first tournament on Saturday (November 15/14), at the Provincial Cup in Oshawa at Maxwell Heights Secondary School.

An enthusiastic newly forged Team took to the courts with no evidence of nerves or trepidation as they took to the courts. The girls played with boundless energy and determination as they easily claimed first place in pool play.

After a very lengthy lunch break, the TNT took back to the courts to meet their DA sister team, the Devils. It was a tightly fought match with both Teams trading point for point. TNT dug in deep and played each point with three hits and won their match in two games straight.

In the gold medal match the TNT then faced their other DA sister team, the Dynamite team. After a long day and despite their best efforts, the TNT succumbed this match. That said the TNT Team’s efforts were rewarded with a SILVER medal.

Throughout the tournament the TNT defense was tenacious as they chased down every ball. Most importantly the girls were confident, did not scare easily and had quality passes and hits in all their matches.

A shout out to coaches Jeannine and Gord – and to all parents for eagerly stepping up to assist throughout the day’s hosting responsibilities.

An amazing way to kick off this season!

    GO TNT GO!!
