Second tournament a success for U14 Girls Black ‘Infinity’ team

We had a fabulous first 14U tournament of the year in Oshawa this past weekend at Maxwell Heights.  We went undefeated in our pool play against Revolution Renegades and Wildcat Tigers. After the lunch break the girls came out strong and took the Thundercats and DRVC to 2 games each and won their way to the finals.  We met Leaside in the finals who gave us a good competition.  We rose to the occasion and had to play strong.  We took the GOLD home with scores of 25-17 and 25-10.  Our team was able to host this tournament and everything seemed to run smoothly thanks to our excellent group of parents.  We are grateful for the ongoing commitment of our coaches, Joel Banbury, Steph Wares and Jody Bevan.  The girls are in good hands and are enjoying each other on and off the court.
