INVASION 14U Red Brings Home the Gold

INVASION 14U Red Brings Home the Gold

Playing an age group up in the 15U Challenge Cup, the girls dug deep to turn the day from a slow start into a winning experience and returned from Kingston with Gold.

Ranked 9th at the start of the tournament, the girls started the day with a loss, but then finished second in their pool.  After lunch and some reflection to adjust for the level of play, the girls kicked it up a notch to dominate in the crossover play and maintained the momentum throughout the afternoon. A close game with 14U DRVC taught the girls the important lesson that they can come back from a deficit to win! What a boost for the team! The elevation in focus and determination carried the team to their gold medal!

This tournament underscored the importance of teamwork and team play.

Congratulations to a fabulous group of girls both on the court and off. Every match is a learning experience that brings the girls together as a team and makes Invasion stronger!
