DA’s 1st Annual Winter Coat Drive a Roaring Success

Durham Attack participated in its 1st Annual Winter Coat Drive in November and the results were nothing short of amazing. The Coat Drive in support of Children’s Breakfast Club and through
partnership with Centennial College allowed our athletes to donate their gently used clothing to support those in need in communities across Canada.

More than 11 teams supported the Coat Drive with more than 50 bags of clothing collected and donated! Teams supported the campaign with open arms and Centennial College was blown away with the amount of support! Durham Attack and DURHAM ATTACK cares are planning to make this an annual support pillar in our ongoing strategy of giving back to our community while developing character through the pursuit of excellence.

Thank you to all who participated in this year’s program and those who provided team photos for us to include in our banquet this year. Special thanks to Mary Jo Bryant who brought the idea forward to DA Cares and the Durham Attack Executive.

This year every Durham Attack team is taking part in a Community Support Initiative to give back to our community. Our teams have embraced this concept and you can see some of their community projects on our DURHAM ATTACK cares program page. We will post more information about each team project as we receive it.

Here are pics from some of our teams…
