Coming off their Gold 17U Gold Medal winning performance, the 16U Power medal again!

Coming into the last OVA tournament of the year,  the girls from Durham Attack Power found themselves ranked 7 out of 9 teams in the competition!  The Power won both morning matches showing off a fierce intensity that seems to have been growing more and more focused with every passing week!  Their morning dominate performances vaulted the girls from 7th seed, directly into the #1 seed spot heading into the afternoon medal rounds!  Their position as #1 seed was fitting as the girls from Durham not only defeated the #1 Ranked Storm Hurricanes; they also eliminated solid teams from Ottawa and Markham that were ranked higher than the Attack Power going into the event!

The girls winning ways saw them eventually again battle for Gold against the powerful team from Leaside, this team had not lost a set all day! The Attack Power quickly changed that with a fantastic display of teamwork and handed Leaside their first set loss of the day! The Attack Power gave Leaside everything they had in the three-set thriller and just fell short of winning Gold, definitely not due to their lack of effort!

The last OVA tournament ended with a Silver Lining for the POWER!!!!! Congrats on your Silver Medal winning performance girls!
