16U’s Lend a Helping Hand at WindReach Farm

The 16U Girls Durham Attack Velocity Team spent their PA Day on Friday April 5th lending a helping hand at WindReach Farm.  With the majority of this team being animal lovers, what better way for our girls to give back to the Community.

WindReach Farm is specially designed to meet the needs of individuals with a variety of disabilities.  WindReach Farm includes fully wheelchair accessible pathways, trails, buildings, barns and stables.  WindReach welcomes both the special needs and able-bodied communities.  Their programs and services have been developed with full accessibility at the forefront.  Their Goal is to engage with their clients in order to strengthen skills, independence, and physical well-being in a safe and nurturing environment.

Thank you to all of the many Volunteers who help WindReach to survive in so many ways and allowing us to share in the beauty of your farm for a day.
